The College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls – University of Baghdad witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis tagged (the effect of image memory exercises and mental rotation in the performance of some offensive skills in basketball for ages (16-17) years) for the student (Aya Khaled Sahi) under the supervision of the instructor in the team games branch, Prof. Dr. Intisar Owaid Ali.

The most important conclusions were, proving their effectiveness in visual memory exercises in developing the perception of the field of vision of basketball players, as well as the effectiveness of mental rotation exercises in developing the players’ offensive skills. And the most important recommendations were, the necessity of paying attention to activating the role of visual exercises in training team games in general, and using mental rotation exercises in the training of basketball teams, after they have proven their effect in all age groups.

After the student discussed her thesis, the committee recommended granting her a master’s degree in physical education and sports sciences.
